Thinking About Working With Me?

I’ve been rewriting one of the pages about working with me so it’s built around questions you might have.

So far I’ve got answers to questions on:

  • What kind of things can you help me with?
  • Do I need to be a writer to work with you?
  • Have  you got any room for new clients at the moment?
  • Do I need to be in the same part of the world as you?
  • Can you give me writing prompts and exercises to get my writing going?
  • Can I get a critique of my writing?
  • How can we work together over a longer time period?
  • What currency do you charge in?
  • Do I have to sign up for several months at once?
  • Can I get more detail on these services?
  • What if I need more intense support to help me improve my writing?
  • What about testimonials?
  • What do I do now?

(Yes, you’ll need to check out the page on working with Joanna to get the answers.)

For those of you who are quietly thinking about working with me: is there anything else you’d like to know about how we can work together?  Are there any other kind of collaborative projects and writing services you’d like to see listed?  (If you don’t want to share your comments here you’re welcome to drop me a line at joanna[at]confidentwriting.com.)

For those of you who also promote your services on a blog or website: what formats do  you use to share information about services with potential clients?  Do you find that some formats have more impact than others?

Joanna, as always your gracious willingness to share your own process truly has helped me! I have been working on my business communications and have started to answer many of these questions. Seeing this from another perspective is such a great help. Thank you so much for teaching, and sharing. I have told many of your services and will continue to recommend you highly. You are a master at what you do!

    Joanna,

I love how you always involve your readers in what you’re doing instead of just doing it and then telling what you did.

Karen, glad to be of help. You’re constantly inspiring me, so it’s a fair trade :-)

Michele, hello! How nice to see you. Thanks for the feedback, and the smile, once again. Can’t wait to see where you go now you’re taking the reins off yourself :-)

Nice to see you, too, Joanna! Yes, taking the reins off is not easy, but it’s something I have to do. :-)

Hehe, I would like to work with you as well, Joanna but I don’t think I have the qualification to do so, since my writing is kind of bore and dull…
