Citizen Publishers: How Do You Show Respect For Your Readers?

The theme at Joyful Jubilant Learning this month is what we’ve learned from citizen publishing.  I’ve linked my piece there with the theme of writing with respect.

In R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Find Out What It Means To Me I’m looking at the writers, bloggers and citizen publishers who’ve earned my respect as a reader.

You demonstrate respect for my time, energy and attention. You make it easy for me to read what you’re writing.  Your posts are no longer than they need to be.  You use plain, accessible language and you break up your paragraphs.    You brighten things up with pictures.  There are clear headings to signpost your work and let me skim if I want to.

Read the rest at JJL and please do chip into the conversation on what earns your respect as a reader of what’s published on the web.
