I loved this! What a great way to do your piece. Would you mind if I did mine on my blog this way but still credited your idea?

Love it!!!!! And your blog is wonderful!

I recently discovered Wordle, Joanna, and I am amazed at how beautiful the concept is.

It brings such an unusual dimension to the mere shape of letters, conjuring up separate entities entirely.

Words take on a life of their own… in more ways than one! :-)

    Hi, Joanna!

Never even heard of Wordle! But it looks fascinating-and from your conversation cloud, it appears that your AOC contribution will be every bit as fascinating! Can’t wait to read it!

    Cheers!

That’s so exciting, Joanna! But what I really want to know? How long did it take you to make all those links… (grin)

Nettie, no problem at all, though it’s not an original idea of mine - copied from other great Age of Conversation authors. Glad you like the blog

Scott, wordle is fun isn’t it? I’m quite interested in the different reactions I have to colours and shapes - some colours work for some pieces whereas others are just ‘not right’ - though I’d find it hard to say why…

Jeanne, I think as a lover of words and writing that you’ll love wordle. Definitely worth giving it a go - only takes a few minutes to get your first results

Robert, yes, and thanks for the inspiration :-)

Eric, me too - think I’ll need to take another week off to read everyone’s chapters!

gl, thank you, and ditto :-)

-Deb, one of the wonderful things about this project is that the editors are uber-organised. They send out files with everyone’s names and blog links - as well as clear instructions, deadlines, and word limits. 400 word limit: great creative challenge

Great Wordling, Joanna. It is a very cool tool … I did one for my home page and was thinking about putting it there … maybe not. Really looking forward to reading your contribution to the new book!

I like wordling as a verb Brad :-) You could always experiment with the cloud on your page and see how it goes - or use it for a post maybe

I’m looking forward to reading your chapter too
